Maarten Corbijn (Corbino) made some portraits of me for his weekly 'pictorial sketch' in HP De Tijd. I like his work a lot and it was a pleasure to see someone else make a portrait for a change -with a camera, of me. Here is the result: a man hiding behind cat or collar, ready to pounce.

In the margin of the Leonardo story I am often asked whether I've done self-portraits. Well, I have from time to time, mostly to see how a new technique or approach works out. Particularly when there is no other model at hand, it is convenient to resort to my own face.
